When the students reach in the college life, they choose their own subjects in science, arts or commerce groups. They get admission in the colleges and start getting education. They forward their admission forms for their registration through their college to the concerned educational board. The concerned educational board start preparation of their Inter roll number slips and HSSC date sheet to conduct the FA/FSc part 1 annual exams after the end of their first year study. The students work hard in HSSC part 1 as formal education is started from college and they give special attention on their studies. The students appear in the Inter part 1 annual exams on the fixed dates, which are mentioned in their Intermediate part 1 annual exams date sheet. The educational boards also mention the names of the exams centers in the roll number slips of the candidates and the candidates report to that exams center to appear in the 11^th class exams.

The educational boards have their own responsibility to conduct the annual exams of 1^st year at the fixed time. The educational boards located in Punjab like Faisalabad, DG Khan, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Multan conduct the annual exams of FA/FSc-I in the colleges at the same time and also announce the HSSC-I result on the same day. The educational boards in KPK like Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, DI Khan, Malakand, Abbottabad, Bannu and Swat conduct the Inter-I annual exams according to their own schedules and announce Intermediate-I result as and when their results are prepared. The educational boards located in Sindh like Karachi, Hyderabad, Larkana, Sukkur, Aga Khan and Mirpurkhas conduct their exams after issuing their Intermediate date sheets and after finishing of the Inter part 1 annual exams, they start preparation of the annual exams. Federal Board has its own schedule to conduct the HSSC part 1 annual exams in the colleges during the month of March and April and announces the Intermediate part 1 result after about three months. Quetta Board is sole board of Baluchistan and it is responsible to conduct the exams of 1^st year class of the students of the whole province and also announces its 11th class result. AJK board conducts FA/FSc part 1 annual exams in AJK and prepares the result of their exams.
